On this nature adventure, you’ll sail to Monkey Island, visit a sloth sanctuary and explore the wonders of Butterfly House. You’ll begin with a boat ride across Gatun Lake, passing the huge ships that cross the Panama Canal and taking in the beauty of the tropical forest. On Monkey Island, you can see playful white-faced capuchin monkeys and howler monkeys interacting in their natural habitat.

Your next stop will be the sloth sanctuary where you’ll see rescued two- and three-toed sloths. You’ll learn about their lifestyle, habits and behaviours as well as the sanctuary’s conservation efforts. At Butterfly House, you can discover a colourful array of butterfly species endemic to the rainforest, like the blue morpho butterfly. You’ll also find frog and orchid exhibitions to explore.
